Russia is planning a great strategic railway through Persia to India. It will start from Khannikin, in Asiatic Turkey, close to the Persian frontier, pass through Kermaushashan and Ispahan to Kemian aud thence through Beluchistan. A branch line is projected from Kerman to Bandar Abbas, on the Persian Gulf.
