OPERA HOUSE.

The Opera House was well patronised on Saturday night, when Dix's Gaiety Company made the twenty-fourth weekly change of programme. All the old favourites were most cordially received. Misses. Ethel Clifford,.Alice Layton and Gertrude Minton came in for a large share- of -applause. The Devella Sisters had to respond several times after singing and dancing, while, their boxing act' took the house by storm. Messrs J. Collins, B. Hall and K. Brown were very amusing in their comic songs. The Minions were again successful with their clog d'ance. .Mr Frank York'e, who is as popular as ever, had to sing .all his songs twice before the audience was satisfied. Tonight, "Ferry, the Human. Frog," will make his first appearance.
