SWIMMING.
A meeting of the committee of the Lancaster Park Swimming. Club was held) cto Friday; present —Messrs F. D. S'tokes, D. Steinmetz, C. Watts, N. M'Dowell, R. Dockery, R. Robbie and M. T. WtheeJer. Arrangements for the annual race meetmg, to be iheld on Feb. 23, wiere made, and judging from the entries and prizes it should be the most, successful meeting the club has held. Dr Clayton was elected a vicepresident of the club, and Meser* Colin ■.Flavell, of the First Contingent, and A. H. ■ Mocrisoni .and W.
