THE CONCILIATION AND ARBITRATION BILL.

' TO THE EDITOR. Sir, —As you are aware, our M.H.R.’s in Wellington are talking of closing shop at an early date. I wonder whether they will have the cheek to come back withoutseeing that the Conciliation and Arbitration Bill is passed into law. Of course it has passed in the Lower House, and it has even been read a second time pro forma in the Upper Chamber, but is it to stop at that? A large number besides myself -have been watching the papers very closely to see the fate of that important Bill. We see less important measures discussed and passed, but not a word about the Bill in question. Hoping that the sincere M.H.R.’s will fight hard to see that this measure is not slaughtered. —I am*, etc., THE AGE OF HUMBUG.
