HOCKEY.
At the annual meeting of the Sydenham Girls' Hockey Club the following officers were elected:—President—Mr H. A. Pappnll; vice-presidents, Mesdames Scott and Woodward and Misses Shirlaw and Stephens; secretary, Miss S. E. Bell; treasurer, Miss N. Mearns; general committee—Misses Jenkins, Dymond, Mearns and L. Cooper. It was decided that the name of the club should be changed to the "Huia Hockey Club." The Waltham school ground has again been secured for the season's play.
