The weather was fine, and the *vvickct good. There was a fair' attendance. Iredalc, Kelly and Hill are standing out’ of the Australian team. The Home team batted first. The second wicket fell with the score at 58. At the luncheon adjournment seven wickets were down for 116 runs. , The remainder of the batsmen failed to make a stand. Jones bowled at a tremendous pace, and when he dismissed Bagshaw, broke the leg stump. The following are the scores:
