AUSTRALIANS v. DERBYSHIRE. United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. LONDON, June 26. The Australians commenced a . match against) Derbyshire to-day. The weather was fine, and the *vvickct good. There was a fair' attendance. Iredalc, Kelly and Hill are standing out’ of the Australian team. The Home team batted first. The second wicket fell with the score at 58. At the luncheon adjournment seven wickets were down for 116 runs. , The remainder of the batsmen failed to make a stand. Jones bowled at a tremendous pace, and when he dismissed Bagshaw, broke the leg stump. The following are the scores:

THE THIRD TEST MATCH.
The following have been selected to represent England in the third test match, commencing at Leeds on June 29: Brown, Hayward, Hearne, Young, Lillcy, M’Laren, Ranjitsinhji, Fry, Shrewsbury, and probably Brockwell, Briggs or T. Richardson. The. newspapers express gratification at the selection of Shrewsbury and Brown.
