OVERDUE VESSELS

DETENTION BY.BAD WEATHER. [Per Pkess Association.] WELLINGTON, May 22. Both the barques, the Mary Hasbrouek and the Silverhow, so long overdue, have now arrived. In each instance the detention was due to nothing worse- than persistent bad weather, especially in Cook Strait. They have both been almost in sight of port for a fortnight. The Silverhow lost a number of sails in the recent gale.
