CAPTAIN MAURICE BELL'S FATE.

Captain Maurice 8011, a British officer, formerly belonging to the Middlesex Volttf) ■ teers, attached, to the Belgian expedition, was ambushed in the Congo district. He himself killed ten Avnvennis tribesmen before he was overcome. Captain Bell's body was eaten along with those of several-of his companions.
