Wheat.—The following Victorian, cargoes have been sold; —Per Hornsby Castle, at 28s 9d; per Dumfriesshire, .sailed from Melbourne Feb. 15, at 29s 3d ; Ballachulish, now loading at Geelong, at 28s 3d. Nine thousand quarters of South Australian wheat have been sold at 295. Hides are slow of sale, and are a shade easier, leather and basils lifeless. SYDNEY, April 24.

At the local wool sales to-day a parcel of Queensland scoured realised Is 9d, the highest price reached for thirteen, years.

Messrs Dalgety and Company, Limited, have received the following cablegram, dated
