CHEVIOT. There was’ a full attendance an the Cheviot sale on Friday, and bidding was brisk for all lines of sheep. The following prices were obtained: Lambs (store) 5s j9d to 9s 2d, very forward stores 10s 2d, wethers 12s 6A to 14s sd, two-tooth ewes and wethers 13s, two-tooth ewes 12s, four and six-tooth do 11s, half-bred ewes (aged) 6s lid. PROPERTY SALES. At Ashburton on Saturday Mr David Thomas sold, for Mr George Bobbins, a farm of 47i acres at Wincbmore to Mrs Clifford for .£ls 10s per acre. Some other farms offered were passed in. The same day Messrs Friedlander Bros, sold the farm of Mr John Knox, 200 acres at Greenstreet, to Mr Isaac Sargent at .£lB 10s per’ acre. A farm at Waterton waaoffered-and passed in.
