PARISH MEETINGS.

ST SAVIOUR'S, WEST LTTTELTON. Tho annual meeting of parishioners of St Saviour's, West Lyttelton, was held on Thursday. Tho vicar stated in his report that during tho year there had been fortyseven baptisms, four marriages and nine burials, while thirty candidates had' been presented for confirmation. The balancesheet showed an excess of income over expenditure of .£lB, which had reduced the total indebtedness of the parish to ' £2O. Messrs Hchollar and Smith were elected churchwardens, and the following were elected vestrymen: —Messrs Derbidge, M'Gregor, Taylor, Owen, Coote, Wilcox and Captain Whitby. A recommendation was carried that the. Vestry should at once consider the subject'of building a Sunday schoolroom, several offers of monetary assistance being made at the meeting.
