FPeb Press Association.] WANGANUI, April 19. Upwards of 1000 Natives from all parts of the colony have arrived to take part in the tangi and funeral arrangements of the late Major Kemp. The Hon J. Carroll is expected to-morrow. In addition to the Garrison Band two Native brass bands will take part in the military funeral, and the ceremony will have a colonial lather than a local significance. The date of the funeral has not yet been fixed, but it is expected to be Sunday next.
