HARVEST THANKSGIVING SERVICES.

At St Bartholomew’s Church, Kaiapoi, on Sunday harvest thanksgiving services were held. The church was tastefully decorated with fruit, vegetables, grain and flowers, while on the walls were appropriate texts. At the morning service, Mr E.„B. Papprill officiated, and at the evening the Rev T. Purchas, of Papanui, preached. The attendance was very good.
