FOOTBALL.

A meeting of the committee of the Christchurch Football Club was held last evening, Mr J. E. Evans (vice-president) in the chair. Matters in connection with club rooms was discussed, and it waa decided that the rooms should be opened to members as early as possible, probably next week. It was resolved that a levy of 2s 6d on each active member should be made for the use of the rooms. Teams for the various competitions were chosen, aa follows Seniors v. Sydenham, at Lancaster Park—G. Niven, Talbot, Garsia, S, Brown, Middleton, Townend, Lewm, Flavell, Moeller, J. T. Wilson, Appleby, D. Niven, A. C. Wilson, Moore and Frost. Second v. Albion Second, at Albion ground. South Park—Fearon, E. C. Smith, Martin, Dudley, Pope, H. S. Lawrence, Moir, Ayers, Cotton, Dunkley, Shand, Parr, Cook, Prendeville and Walters. Third v. Merrvule B, at Christchurch ground, North Park— T. Wynn-Williams, C. Brown, Barnes, Vickerman, C. D. Thomas; Crawshaw,, J. Lawrence, C. N. B. Williams, C. Denham, Foley, Douglas, W, Thomas, G. H. F. Hobbs, Norris, Buchanan; emergencies—Wiggins, Cnrnow. The second and third fifteens will meet at the training rooms, Hereford Street, on Thursday evening, to elect -captains, and other business.
