DRAUGHTS TOURNAMENT.

[Ter Press Association.! WELLINGTON, April 17. The draughts tournament concluded yesterday. Thirty-two games were played by each competitor. The followingis the result,—Boreham (Oamaru) 26£ points, .£ls, 1; Lucas (Dunedin) and Mulvey (Gore) 23 points each, divide the second and third prizes of .£lO and £5; Bell (Dunedin) 22% points, £3, 4; Brownlee (Havelock) 20% points, £2, 5. The points scored by the others were:—Sim (Temuka) 19J, Anderson (Matanra) and Leggatt (Wellington) 18* each, Lee (Temuka) and Murray (Wanganui) 14% each, Bruce (New Plymouth) 13£, Anderson (Wanganui) 13, Gibson (Manaia) Hi, Eeed (Wellington) jl, Blair (Manaia) 10, Brown (Wellington) 9 and Barnes (Wellington) 2. Mr Boreham has for the third year in succession won the championship. The match North v. Spnth resulted in a win for the South by 10 points to 4. The South won the match last year. The next tournament will ba held at Dunedin.
