NEW ZEALAND ROWING ASSOCIATION.
[Per Press Association.! WELLINGTON, April 15.
At a meeting of the Management Committee of the New Zealand Rowing Association, it was decided to bring up at the annual meeting the case of Solomon, who rowed as a junior in the Bluff Regatta, after the Fort Chalmers Club had received notice that he was not eligible. It was decided that the fact that Bonnor had rowed in a race at the Sounds did not affect his maiden status. The committee decided that it had no fault to find with the local officer’s action in regard to Wright, of the Dunedin Amateur Boating Club] in connection with the race for the Champion Pairs, and approved of the course he took in regard to Keenan, a member of the Port Chalmers Rowing Club. A hearty vote of thanks was accorded to Mr J. White, President of the Otago Rowing Association, and Mr James, local representative in Dunedin, for their services to the Association in connection with the Championship Regatta.
