THE YACHT METEOR. SYDNEY, April 15. The yacht Meteor remains in Sydney, having become the property of Dr Elliot, of Balmain. THE DUDLEY PIT DISASTER. At the Dudley Pit disaster inquiry, the manager stated that the fan was going for some time before the explosion. The pit was so free from gas that half an hour was sufficient to clear it. Naked lights were used, but every precaution was taken. He could only account for the explosion by a fall from the roof releasing gas. THE REVOLT IN THE PHILIPPINES THURSDAY ISLAND, April 15.
News from the East annnounces that there has been a further serious outbreak of rebellion in the Philippines.
