CLEARING SALE.

At Leeaton on Thursday Messrs H. Matson and Co. held a most successful clearing sale at the homestead of Mr Donald M’Donald. on account of his having sold his farm. There was a very good attendance, and every lot was cleared at prices that must have been satisfactory to the vendor. Good draught horses brought >£3s, >£2s, =£23 10s and <£2l, a<red sorts from =£o 10s to =£ls, and light horses £lO. Springing heifers realised from £4 to £4 ss. Among-the implements a drill brought £25, a reaper and binder £l6, drays from £9 to £l2, a roller £9 and a double-furrow plough £9 ss.
