CHUECH ADDEESSES. [Per Press Association.! DUNEDIN, March 24. Bishop Nevill and a number of clergy and laity waited on Lord Eanfurly to-day, and. on behalf of the' Anglican Church, presented an address conveying local greetings and declaring homage and devotion to the Queen. The address stated that “as churchmen we have peculiar satisfaction in welcoming your Lordship, the head of a distinguished family which has been closely associated with the administration of the Church of Ireland, to which church it has given more than one Bishop and other ecclesiastical dignitaries.” Lord Eanfurly made a suitable reply. A deputation from the Presbyterian Church of N6w Zealand, consisting of the Moderator (the Eev Gordon Webster), Eev W. Gillies (Timaru), Eev A. B. Todd (Geraldine) and three elders, waited on the Governor and presented the address from the Presbyterian Church of New Zealand agreed upon at the meeting at Auckland, His Excellency made a suitable reply.
