A regiment of Redifs seized a transport, and having bound its own. officers, threatened to sack Mudiana, a village of Asia on the sea of Marmora, unless their arrears of pay were forthcoming. The Vali pacified the men by paying seven hundred thousand piastres.

M, Nelidoff has warned the Porte that in the event of encroachment on the revenue and ceded debt financial control is inevitable.
