DUNEDIN, Dec. 28.
Mr M’Gavin, a well-known brewer and an ex-president of the Caledonian Society, is dead; also ex-Councillor Toomey. INVERCARGILL, Dec. 2S.
Peter Blackley, well-known throughout Otago as the landlord of hotels in Palmerston," Balclutha and Wyndham, died to-day, aged sixty-eight.
