A CHIEFS WARNING. [Ter Peeks Association.l CAPETOWN, August 30. The chief Gambo says that the white people are mad not to see that the Matabele are merely temporising in order to obtain supplies, and that the offer of surrender is a mere pretence. Mr Rhodes’s interview with Induuas in the south-west Matoppos had no result, the chiefs being confident of their ability to resist the white troops.
