BELFAST BIBLE CHRISTIAN CHURCH.
The seventh anniversary services of the Bible Christian Church were held on Sunday last. The pastor, the Eev William Grigg, preached both morning and afternoon to good congregations, and in the evening to a large concourse. The choir under the leadership of Mrs Grigg, with Mr Marshall as organist, assisted greatly towards the success of the meetings. On Wednesday evening the annual tea meeting was held, at which there was another large attendance. The tables were presided over by the young ladies of the Christian Endeavour Society. A congregational meeting was afterwards held in the church, which was suitably decorated with mottoes evergreens. As the meeting commenced the seating capacity of the church was taxed to its uttermost, and as time wore on seats had to be arranged along the aisle to accommodate friends and visitors. The Eev W. Grigg occupied the chair, and submitted the annual report, which was of a very encouraging nature. Appropriate addresses were given by the Eava Mitchell, Ginger, Orchard and Smalley, and Mr B. H. Ferguson, each referring with pleasure to the near future, when the various bodies will become one united Methodist Church. During the evening solos were given by Miss Warwick and Eev and Mrs Mitchell, and the choir enlivened the proceedings with suitable anthems. Votes of thanks were heartily accorded to all who had assisted Cowards the success of the gathering.
