THE NEW SOUTH W ALES MINERS. [Special to Press Association.] NEWCASTLE, Oct. 24.
In view of a probable strike the Wallsend Lodge has decided to rejoin the Miners’ Association. There is intense and widely spread distress in the district. There is a concerted movement among the miners to obtain Government assistance to proceed to the goldfields and elsewhere in search of work.
