The greater portion of tho day was devoted to Victorian and Tasmanian consignments. The sales opened fairly, but when the New Zealand lots were reached, it was at the fag end of a completely disorganised market. With the exception of the early lots nothing but ruination prices were obtained; in fact, the day’s sales closed before time owing to paralysis; A large number were passed in. Only Lincolns were offered. The following are results:—Mr Forrest (Waikato), 17 rams at 18a each, 15 ram lambs 10s 6d, 5 ewes Mr Menlove, 24 stud rams averaged ifil 14a 9d, 66 flock rams averaged 13s, 2 ewes 1-sgs each. Seven Waikato rams were passed, 18 ewes 13s 6d each. Mr Andrews (Canterbury), 4 rams averaged £1 16s 3d, 17 rams 16s 6d each.
