PIONEER BICYCLE CLUB.

The monthly general meeting of the Pioneer Bicycle Club was held at the club-rooms last evening. The captain, Mr M, S. Brown, occupied the chair, and there was a good attendance of members. The following new members were elected:— Messrs W. J. Hunter, H, Stewart. P. Donaldson, P, A. Proude, J. Howell, E. L. Martin, A. M’Dougall and Dr Townend. Mr W. B. Eyre was elected handicapper for the season 1894-95. The Honorary Secretary reported that arrangements for the picnic on Nov. 9 were well in hand, and that a large number of members had signified their intention of attending. The programme for the annual race meeting on Boxing Day was passed, as follows; One-mile Maiden Eoadater, One-mile Roadster Handicap, Two-mile Eoadater Handicap, Three-mile Roadster Handicap, Half-mile Open Handicap, Onemile Ladies' Bracelet, One-mile Provincial Championship, Two-mile First-class Open Handicap, Pive-mile Open Handicap, One and a Half-mile Visitors’ Handicap, 220yds Plat Handicap and 440yds Plat Handicap.
