Campbell,' Collector of Customs; and Smart, clerk, from their respsotiva offices. It is alleged that Campbell 'jw treated very shabbily, the keys olilte bfflee being demanded without a moment's notice. Considerable exoitemeat prevailed. Sateki, an important chief end afitm friend of the Eev Shirley Biker, Wae appointed Premier. W. Campbell, Collector of Customs at Vavau, was transferred to Tongatabu, and Mr WhitCMkbe Clerk to the Premier. Agineral wish is expressed for the Eev 8. Baker to return to Tonga. The excite* feeftfkad subsided when the Upolu left. ' The Ksv Shirley Baker, interviewed, said-that the change in the Tongan Minietrywill be very popular with both Europeans and natives. Ho is of opinion that the country will be move prosperous.
