OM—A petition was presented! from property-owners on the north, aid* «Cl the Lincoln road, strongly objecting totha tram line being laid on that side of thftj road because of the Inconvenience it would] cause. A letter was received ,fromtha! Biocarton Boad Board, requesting thel Board to reconsider its decision, and pro-! posing that the tramway should be placed' on the north side, aa it won\d be eater for road traffic and easier to maintain. It vm ; unanimously agreed—“ That theßiooartonj Boad Board be informed that this Board! cannot alter the decision arrived at at its' last meeting,-and its position is approved by a petition presented to it from Biocac*! (on ratepayers, who object to the train on the north side, and likewise to inform the! Biooarton Board that it has heard nothing! from the Tram Company in objection to the resolution of Nov. 7.* —The resignation) of Mr S. Smart was received.
