Some of the Clubs had not yet sent in their returns, but he hoped to have them at an early date. The photograph of the Canterbury representatives, who represented the Province last year in the northern and southern interprovincial matches, was nearly finished, and would be included in tho " Annual.” He had also arranged to have an account of the northern tour published in the " Annual.” The question of playing matches on Thursday afternoons was held over until the annual meeting of the Union. The annual report and balance-sheet, to be presented to the annual meeting, were considered. It was decided to hold the annual meeting at the Clarendon Hotel on Saturday, March 25.
