ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.

[Per Pbess Association.] AUCKLAND, June 23. The owner of the schooner Louie, long overdue here from Lyttelton, wired to the Minister for Marine to-day, asking that the Hinemoa should be sent to search for the schooner. It is feared that the vessel was lost in the recent gales. Henry Richmond, hotel-keeper, was found dead in the harbour to-day near the torpedo shed at Devonporfc. The body had been a few hours only in the water. It is supposed that the man fell over the wharf. The schooner Clansman, bound from Whangarei to Kaipara with coals, put in to Auckland last night leaking, having encountered very heavy weather.
