AN UNPLEASANT BECEPTION. ADELAIDE, June 22. The new Ministry was granted one of the most unpleasant receptions ever accorded a new Government. The Premier's motion for adjournment was the signal for an exceedingly bitter personal attack, but the House agreed to adjourn for a fortnight. MUBDEB AND SUICIDE. SYDNEY, June 22. A man, named Bichard Austin, shot his wife and then himself, out of jealousy. Both died. They were formerly residents in New Zealand. The man who shot his wife in a fit of jealousy is dead. His name is Bichard Hdskmg, not Austin, aa previously mentioned. NEW MINISTER. MELBOUBNE, June 22. The Hon- F. Brown is appointed a Minister without a portfolio. The cases of illness among those who arrived by the Oroya have developed into smallpox, though in a m< dified form. FUNERAL OF LORD ANCBUM. The funeral of Lord Anctum took place td-diy. There waß an enormous concouraa of people.
