TO THE EDITOR. Sib, —On coming into town this morning I was very much surprised to see the flag over the City Council Building flying full instead of half-mast high. To say the least of it, it shows very bad taste or want of good taste on the part of some one in authority, considering that the late Mr Kuddenklau was highly esteemed by the citizens generally, and has twice filled the office of Mayor of Christchurch.—l am, &c., CITIZEN.
