Mails close for tlie following places as under, subject to the necessary alterations Saturday, May 30. For South America, United Kingdom and Continent of Europe, per E.M.S. Tainui, as follows:—Ordinary letters, 12.45 p.m.; late fee letters, 1.15 p.m,; registered letters, money orders, books, newspapers and parcel-post parcels, 12.30 p,tn. This mail will be due in London on July 11. For Queensland, per Poherua, at 1.45 p.m.; late fee letters, 2 p.m.; guard’s van, 2.40 p.m. train. For Northern Ports, par Rotorua, at 7.45 p.m.; late fee letters at Bp.m.; guard’s van, 9.5 p.m. train. Monday, June 1. For Northern Ports and Westport, per Omapere, at 12.30 p.m,; late fee letters, 12.45 p.m.; guard's van, 1.25 p.m. train . NoTE.—On and after Saturday, June 6,, the Money Order and Savings Bank Office will be open to the public on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.; and for receipt of Savings Bank deposits only from 7 p.m. to B.SO p;m.
