Tipperary tenants are now paying their rents, and the Plan of Campaign shows signs of collapsing in that county. The Queen’s Proctor is inquiring into the O’Shea divorce case. Roman Catholic priests are making a house to house canvass against Mr Parnell’s candidature for KilkennyNorth. Collisions take place daily between tho opposing parties, and troops are arriving to maintain order.
Mr T. Sexton declares that his party will hereafter demand assurances from Mr Gladstone beyond the points obtained by Mr Parnell with respect to Home Rule.
