DETAILS OF ARRANGEMENTS. [B7 EXE CUBIC TPLEGRAPE-COPYEIGBT.] [Special to Feess Association.] [Received Sept. 1, at 11.45 a.m.'J PAEIS, Avanex SO. France retains the option of signing the Sugar Bounties Convention within six months. [Received Hept. 2. at 10.30 a.m.] LOHDON, August 31. Great Britain agrees not to impose differential duties in favour of sugar imported from, the Colonies. The Sugar Bounty agreement will come into operation in September, 1891, when raw and refined sugar, molasses and glucose from bounty countries will be excluded by the signatory Powers. Any* of the Powers signing the agreement will be allowed to withdraw on giving twelve months’ notice of the intended secession, and it is intended to appoint an International Committee to see that the terms of the treaty are executed by all. The agreement will be ratified in August, 1890. The'Austrian Government have signed the agreement subject to the whole of the important producing countries adhering to the terms. Denmark and Sweden are not bound to exclude bounty sugar; rHeceivcd Eoxit. 3, at 1.15 a.m. I LONDON, SXPT. 1. The British Colonial Anti-Bounty Society cordially approves the agreement arrived at by the Sugar Bounty Convention ; but regrots the delay in bringing the treaty into operation.
