The inquest on the Bulli disaster Resulted in a verdict that the explosion was caused by gas, and was brought about by a disregard of special rules, and allowing men to work Where gas existed. LORD ABERDEEN. The Earl of Aberdeen has arrived here. He has been accorded an enthusiastic reception. THE NEW ADMIRAL, Admiral Tryon has sailed for England, and the flag of Admiral Fairfax is hoisted on the Nelson. fEeoeived April 18, at 5.10 p.m.J A. M. P. ASSOCIATION, The thirty-eighth annual report of the Australian Mutual Provident Society, issued to-day, shows the new business effected during the year 1886 represented 11,002 new policies, assuring £3,693,324, with a new premium revenue of .£131,730. The sum’ of ,£666,382 is added to the accumulated funds, which now amount to over .£6,500,000. £342,440 will be divided among the members as a cash bonus for the year, making a total dividend during the last three years of £917,813.
