The Union Steamship Company’s steamer Mahinapna arrived from Duuediu, via 'i imam and Ak&roa, yesterday. She leaves to-day for Wellington, Nelson and West Coast ports. Tne Union Steamship Company's steamer Oban arrived from i-unedm on Saturday morning, and left for Auckland and way ports in the even.ng. The ship Opawa will be placed in the Graving Dock to-day, to be cleaned and painted, previous to proceeding to Timarn to load for Loudon. The New Zealand Shipping Company's 8.M.3.5. Aorangi arrived from ijuuedin at 11 o’clock on Satutday night, and was berthed at No. 5 wharf yesterday morning. Tne New Zealand Shipping Company’s ship Eangitiki was despatched for London on Saturday evening. She t akea a cargo of wool and other produce, and Is the first wool ship sent from this port this sea-on. She got well clear of the land with the north-west wind that was blowing, and should be reported in the Channel in about £5 davs. The Union Steamship Company’s steatner Omapere arrived from Westport and Wellington on Saturday morning, and left for Dunedin in the afternoon. The ketch Beliance left for Havelock on Saturday morning, with a cargo of pro luce. The brig Eio Loge leaves to-day for Brisbane, with a cargo of produce. The steamship Arawa, of the Shaw, Savill and Albion Shipping Company’s fleet, arrived from Napier yesterday afternoon, and anchored in the atream. THE WRECK OP THE LYTTELTON. (FROM OUR OWN CORRESPONDENT.) UIMABU, Dec. 4. The purchasers of the wreck were successful yesterday in landing a number of tubes belong, iug to the condenser of the refrigerating machinery, the donkey engine, and a lot of odds and ends. Engineers are hard at work fitting up the machinery that has been brought to land, and it is quite surprising to find what a small amount of injnry it his'received. A itunedin gentleman is in treaty for the purchase o( the boilers and machinery, for the purpose of fitting up a ship that will act as a store ship, and, if necessary, sail to whatever port it is required in this country.
