The motion was then pat from the Chair, and unanimously agreed to. Mr Packer proposed, and Mr Ballantyno seconded the appointment of Mr D. Craig as auditor.

The Chairman, before the meeting separated, expressed a hope that at the next annual meeting the same unanimity would prevail as had marked that. ■ He trusted that before the next meeting the directors would have given a practical demonstration of-the advantages of the Company: The shareholders might depend upon the directors doing everything in their ; power to ensure efficiency and economy, not only in the construction but in the management of the tramway.
