ANNUAL SCHOOL COMMITTEE ELECTIONS.

TAI TAPU. The annual meeting of householders was held in the Schoolroom on Jan. 27,at 7 p.m. There was a large attendance. In the absence of the Chairman (Mr Peryman), Mr Eainey occupied the chair. : The report for the year was then read, and on the motion of, Mr Champion seconded by Mr Miller was adopted, with a vote of thanks.to tho retiring Committee. The meeting then proceeded to elect a new Committee. The following gentlemen were nominated, viz., Messrs Forbes, Peryman, Barrett, Rainey, Tanner, Mangles, Nutt,, Watson, Miller, and Griffiths. ■ On the ballot being taken, the following were declared duly elected, viz., Messrs Forbes, Peryman, Mangles, Eainey, Barrett, Tanner, and Watson. ' At a meeting of the new Committee held subsequently, Mr H. W. Peryman was reelected Chairman for the ensuing year.
