Thb schooner Bose of Eden, from Akaroa, with a cargo of timber, consigned to Mr W. Montgomery, arrived in harbour yesterday. Thb s.e, Wainui, Capt. Hepburn, arrived in harbour from Dunedin via intermediate porta at 1 p.m. yesterday, and proceeded a'ongside the Bailway Wharf. The Wainui left Port Chalmers at 6 a.m, on the 16th inst., and arrived at Oamatu at2pan. the same day; discharged cargo, and landed passengers, and tailed for Timaru at*lo pan. same evening, arriving at that port at 3 a.m. on the loth hut.; sailed for Akaroa at 4 p.m. on {he same day, and arrived at that port at 3 a.m. on the 17th inst. Sailed for lyttefton at 1 a.m. on the 17th inst,, arriving as above. Experienced fin* weather throughout the passage. Capt, Hepburn reports that the ship Sea Nymph bad irnved at Oamaru to load wool for England, and also that the Bed Bover, loading at Timaru for London, had 2500 bales on board.
