COMMERCIAL.

OTAGO.

The market during the past week hus been very dull indeed. There has been no demand other than for the most limited parcels for sorting up stocks and whilst dealers show no disposition to buy more than retail parcels, merchants are exceedingly cautious in making sales on credit. The Oliver Cromwell has arrived from London, with a full cargo of merchandize, and there have been several arrivals from Melboure. It is however quite looked for that importations during the next four months will be of a limited character, as but little revival in trade is looked for until the spring

of the year.— Daily Times, Uth April
