NOTICE TO TIMBER MERCHANTS AND OTHERS. npHE Provincial Government are prepared to -»- receive tenders for the supply of three hundred thousand feet of sawn planking, to be delivered at the Government yard, Christchurch, in quantities of not less than twenty thousand feet. The timber is to be either kauri pine, red gum, blue gum, stringy bark, black pine, or totara; and must be approved by the Provincial Engineer. The whole to be cut in lengths of 16 feet 8 inches, and to measure 8 inches by 3 inches full cut. ' The Provincial Government will not be bound to accept the lowest or any tender. E.
