Every person desirous of purchasing |any p---tion of the Town Reserves must a written application, addressed to the stating the section or jsections which he or she is desirous of purchasing, and describing the same by referifence to the number on the Map and List "'above referred to. ■| 2. Land so applied for will be put tip at Auction, at the upset price specified jon the List, not being less than after the | rate of Fifty Pounds per acre. 0 3. Any number of sections comprised in 1 one block, and named in one application, not ;; exceeding five acres, will be put up to Auction as one lot. 4. In every case of purchase of land not ; exceeding half an acre, a deposit of Ten per ; cent, of the purchase money must be paid 'at the Auction, and the remainder within ;one week thereafter, at the end of which f period if the purchase be not completed, the will be again immediately put up to | Auction and the deposit forfeited. ? : 5. Any quantity of land exceeding half an :^acre may be acquired either by absolute j purchase on payment of the purchase money provided by the 4th term of sale, ■ or by lease, the lessee undertaking to purchase the land on the following terms, viz.: —Ten per cent, of the purchase money to be paid at the Auction,—thirty per cent, within ■ th'Sr^years thereafter, —the remainder on or y^troV» the expiration of the lease.
