Hitherto, in the on dit of the Port. Mr. IVonnaid's specimens of juicy apples, delicious peaelies, arid mellow plums, have bqrne off the esculent prize; and although these combine^ tolerable dimensions with their other virtues, yet in size th.ey were iuferior to the apple Mr. Ba^~ lard has forwarded to us.
