NOTICE is Hereby Given, that the under-mentioned piece of Town Land (having been applied for and deposit made according to the regulations) will be Sold by Auction, at the Land Office, Christchurch, on Wednesday, the 7th day of February, 1855, at noon, subject to such .conditions as shall be then and there produced, An ISLAND, containing Oa. "XTOTICE is Heeeby Giten, that a -L Public Meeting will be held at the Mitre Hotel, Lyttelton, on Tuesday next, Jan. 2nd, to consider the offers made by the Provincial Government, and to discuss and mature plans for carrying out the above scheme. Also, aa adjourned Meeting, for the same purpose, will be held at the "Golden Fleece" Hotel, Christchurch, on the Friday following, January sth. H. J. Le Crek, Hon. Sec, fro tern. MITRE HOTEL. Notice to Debtors and Creditors. ALL persons who have any claims against Mr. Johx Cuff, and Mr. Joun J. Cuff, late of the Mitre Hotel. Lyttelton, are hereby directed to send in the same to my office, in order that the same, if found correct, may be discharged. And all persons who stand* indebted to the said John Cuff and John J. Cuff are hereby requested to pay the amount of their several and respective debts into ray hands within one month from this date, in default thereof legal proceedings will be taken against all such parties as shall neglect or refuse to comply with this notice.
