LONGDEN has received instructions to Sell by Public Auction, (Without Reserve), at the White Hart Inn, Christchurch, this day, Saturday, June 3", about 60 HEIFERS, (well-bred)'. Averaging 18 months old, and recently imported from Australia. Also, 10 COWS and CALVES, and two valuable Mares and a Foal. Sale at 12 o'clock precisely. IMPORTANT SALE . OF A VALUABLE RUN, SHEEP, *o, MR. LONGDEN has received instructions from the Messrs. C. & A. Perceval to sell by Auction, at the new room of the Golden Fleece Hotel, Christchurch, this day, the 3rd of June, (unless previously disposed of by private contract), That well-known JS UN, situated on the Wai-makariri, about 15 miles from Christchurch, together with all the improvements and stock thereon. The improvements comprise an excellent and spacious Dwelling House, suitable for a family of respectability, and ready for immediate occupation, with small garden attached. An out hut, sheepyards, enclosed with 50 hurdles, and paddock. The flock consists of :— 600 Ewes, to lamb in the ensuing season. 240 Wethers 10 Rams \ 850 Sheep.' Also, a Mare and foal, and 1 cow. The run is 15,000 acres in extent, and there is a pre-emptive right over 250 acres. The quality of the Wool produced from the above flock is too well known to need comment, while the contiguity of the run to Christchurch is a matter of the greatest convenience, and the value of the station is greatly enhanced by the proximity of a never-failing market for fat stock.
