In the Resolution, —10 tons flour, I case blankets, 1 do. ironmongery, Order. In the Necromancer,— 238 bags flour, 2 qr. casks brandy, 3 hhds. rum, 8 cases gin, 38 bags 2 casks sugar, 30 boxes soap, 4 dozen milk dishes, Fordham. In the Kaka, —b'ooo feet timber, Order. The following ships are laid on for New Zealand ; by Messrs. Wigram :— Cornwall, 600 tons, April 15th, for Nelson, Wellington, and Canterbury. By Messrs. Willis & Co. :-^ Creswell, 800 tons, J. Barnett, April 25th, for Auckland and New Plymouth. . Admiral Grenfell, 600 tons, J. McChellan, April 30th, for Wellington and Nelson. Joseph Fletcher, 900 tons, J. Foster, in June, for Auckland and New Plymouth. Stateley, 800 tons, T. Ginder, in June, for Otago and other ports. ; Nelson, new iron screw steamer, 330 tons, | ■will be despatched about June nest, for Nelson and Wellington.

Christchithch Market, Aug. 15th.—The attendance to-day was numerous, but a dullness pervaded the market and holders of grain were not disposed to sell at a reduction from last week's quotations. Some samples of wheat and oats were offered by Auction by Mr. Alport. Wheat, 12s. per bushel, barley, Bs. 6d., oats,. 9s.' to ' 10s. ' ! Nelson Markets, 30th July.—All kinds of produce still continue in demand,arid bring high prices. Wheat maybe quoted at Bs. per bushel; oats, 7s. 6d.; flour, £22 per ton. There has been a great demand for potatoes for shipment, which have sold at £8 a ton. Sawn timber is in request at 20s. per 100 feet. The price of butcher's meat has also risen greatly, and is now selling at from 7d. to Bd. per lb. Birth.—On the 19th instant, the wife of Mr. John F. Ballard, Lyttelton, of a son. Married.—On Monday, the 15th instant,' at Trinity Church, by the Eev. B. W. Dudley Mr. T. E. Creed, to Miss C. E. Calley.
