The following is the programme for Wednesday evening, the 11th August. 1. "To receive draft of Library rules from the Committee appointed to frame them." .2. Mr. Swinburne's proposition— " That a Committee be appointed to report upon the best and cheapest means of having the Coal, lately discovered on the Plains, brought into the Market." 3. Mr. Reader's proposition— " To consider how far Officers, in the employment of Government, are justified in taking part in the discussion of public affairs by the people."
