The Schooner " Black Dog," arrived in Port on Sunday morning from the Auckland Islands via Otago, bringing the Governor, Mr. Enderby, and Messrs. Dundas and Preston, Commissioners of the South Sea Whale fisheries. We understand that the Fishing Establishment is to be broken up at the Islands s and that the Commissioners are now engaged in looking out .for a more suitable and habitable spot to carry on the operations of the Company.
