Private Arthur Shaw.

Private Arthur Shaw, reported killed in action on May 7, was the second youngest son of Mr William Shaw (formerly, of Lower Shotover and now of Lochiel), and brother of Messrs James, Robert, and Walter Shaw, of Arrowtown. Private Shaw was born at Lower Shotover, where he was educated. He was 21 years of =ige. Prior to leaving with the Slat Reinforcements, he was working on hia father's farm at Lochiel Another brother (John) is still at the front.

MISSING.

Amongst the long list of missing in Thursday's dailies appears the names of Lance Corporal A. 8. Bell and Private S. L Peacock (brother of Mr Spence Peacock, Arrowtown). Corporal Bell is well known in Arrowtown, having been for some time on the staff of the Arrow branch of the Bank N.Z.
